We've started to say that we are just like a regular grocery store, just a little more local love. Although known for our bulk sections, we also have a full grocery, dairy, deli, and produce departments. Vegans, vegetarians, and carnivores alike can check off all the items on their grocery list.
Walking in the front door you will find that the Coop has a similar look and feel to that of a 'regular' grocery store. A common misconception is that only members can shop at the Coop, but that is not the case; anyone can shop at the Coop; members & non-members alike.
The Coop has a full grocery, dairy, frozen food, meats, health and beauty, household items, produce and deli departments. Differing from other grocery stores, all of these items are handpicked to be the best selection of local, organic and quality products. We have monthly sales just like other stores where both members and non-members can enjoy the benefits of price breaks we pass on from our distributors and growers. Somewhat unique to the Coop is our bulk and herb departments. With over 180 herbs and spices, we offer one of the largest selections of bulk herbs in Colorado.
Throughout our store you will find a system of symbols and colors on each label to identify the different dietary qualities and production methods. For example you will see symbols highlighting vegetarian, vegan, kosher, gluten free, dairy free, and meat. The color systems is three parts; green identifies organic, blue for local and re for conventionally produced or grown. We strive to be as transparent as possible about the items we choose to carry so you can have the information you need to easily make the right choice for you and your family.
The Coop has been commited to local since 1972. We source as many products as locally as possible. Please download a list of our local business partners who's products we carry or stop in today to see just how many local products we offer. [download pdf]
