FREE Film Series
Every third Thursday of the month. Check back soon for our upcoming movie for the month of February. These movies are FREE and shown at Everyday Joe's, a non-profit coffee house located at 144 South Mason Street, Fort Collins.
Mindful Movies and More
Thanks to Mindful Movies and More, a free service to citizens sponsored by the Sustainability Program at the City of Fort Collins, residents of Fort Collins can watch thought-provoking, sustainably minded documentaries, while also learning from local experts after each film showing.
Winter Farmers Market
Visit us at Winters Farmers Market every other saturday at the Opera Galleria in Old Town Fort Collins. We will be selling freshly made hummus from our deli department as well as snacks and milling spices. Also, think of us when shopping for the holidays. We have gift baskets filled with local items put together beautifully by our Outreach Director, Caroline. They too will be for sale at our booth during the Winter Farmers Market.
Our passion for great food and sustainable practices lends well to our community outreach and programming. As a source for education we strive to strengthen our local economy.
Charity of the Month

Support the Animal House this month by donating what you can when you are at the cash register. The Animal House's mission statement reads, "This mission statement is our promise to the animals that are entrusted into our care. We will provide relief and support to our overburdened shelters. Our goal is to save animals slated for euthanasia due to pet over-population and to give them a second chance at life."
January Cooking Class
Have a "Romantic Ricotta Rendezvous" with Two Italian Cooks, January 31st from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Menonite Church 300 E Oak Street in Fort Collins. Learn how to cook an authentic three course Italian meal. The menu starts with an appetizer of ricotta with seasonal fruit, cinnamon, and honey. This will be prepared beforehand and is almost more of a dessert than anything else. Next, we'll have the main meal of homemade ravioli filled with homemade ricotta, topped with a very simple garlic and basil tomato sauce. The sauce will be homemade of course but made from canned tomatoes since it's January. These will all be made from scratch during the cooking class by you, the participant. The third and final course, the Digestivo, will be a fennel salad with orange almonds and arugula. Having a bit of greens and fennel helps take the stuffiness out after a rich heavy meal like that. This will basically also be prepared beforehand so we can just bust it out right after the ravioli. The class is $20 per person. Register and pay at the food Coop. Limited seating available.
